Tara Broderick - 2nd Runner-Up
1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
I notice their eyes. I love making eye contact with people I first meet because I believe their eyes can actually smile back at you and tell their whole story. There is nothing more beautiful than eye contact and making a strong emotional connection with someone within seconds of meeting them.
2. What is the strangest thing in your fridge?
My short term goal is to travel to every state and country to promote my platform EmpowHER and the Girl’s Up program to teach their curriculum and break gender stereotypes. My long term goal is to continue my career as a welder and become certified in electrical engineering to become an owner of a transformer service and repair company in a male dominated industry and rewrite history.
3.What’s something you only do when you’re bored?
Aside from donating a large sum to the Girl Up and Girls Inc organizations to navigate gender and social barriers to grow up healthy, independent, and educated. I would want to travel the world and sample every delicious treat I could get my hands on.
4.What is a purchase you made that you immediately regretted?
To many it’s useless, but to me it provides me with endless amounts of laughter and ice breakers. It’s my “101 So Bad They’re Good, Dad Jokes†book. Because if you can’t be funny at least you can be punny!
5.What kind of Barbie would you be?
Being the food connoisseur that I am, my rainy days consist of cooking and baking. There is nothing better than having comfort food and a delicious treat as you sit by the TV watching every Adam Sandler movie he’s ever created.
